Laramar and Keishie pearls are a beautiful combination in this necklace and earring set. Laramar is imported from the Dominican Republic and Keishie pearls are harvested from the orient where they grow outside the oyster. Once harvested the keishie pearls are cleaned, dried, dyed, and polished and strung to be sold for use in all kinds of jewelry. Laramar and Keishie pearls are very dear items and hard to find. Keishie pearls come in a rainbow of colors 3 of which are used in this necklace, peach, sea green, and ivory which go very well with the mellow aqua of the Laramar.
